I was gonna write “inb4 all the ignorant and racist bullshit” but there’s already a “fuck off” comment, so I guess I’m too late.
It’s about ethics in game journali...*pfft* Sorry, couldn’t do it.
You’ve never encountered anyone who has quit a game due to hackers/botters? What rock are you living under. Games die off everyday due to this shit, and Overwatch would die pretty quick if they let the cheaters take over.
Bungie *used* to do that with Halo waaaay back in the day. They actually had a specific forum set aside for people who received the banhammer to fight the fact they got it. They could post their info and say what happened to them was unfair, and the Bungie employee in charge of that thread would publicly reply with…
(Yes, that was joking, but I betcha a bunch of people seriously believe it)
Maybe that’s just age catching up with you.
I should also note that I was the only person wearing a brightly-colored jacked. Maybe my fellow Division players just don’t like my style. And now that I think of it, in the one game that I played where I wasn’t kicked, the group leader was decked out in bright yellow.
She’s the Brienne of Tarth of Overwatch: an honorable, fierce warrior who does it all effortlessly while saying “Fuck your gender norms.”
Beyond fanart, fan theory, and fanfics, Zarya is also the kind of woman/character who becomes an icon for LGBTQ people.
I have to say, after reading the books, I can’t make Geralt be with Triss, because it just feels wrong for the characters. Which is weird, because Triss is totally the type of person that I would choose in my own life. (note: I’m only at Skellige, so no spoilers please)
People are so desperate to feel a little bit powerful in their lives that they’ll break rules to advantage themselves in a virtual game about intelligent silverbacks and morphing robots, that’s why.
Ok, that’s a bit extreme. I cannot imagine a scenario where a hacker installs a cheat program on somebody else’s computer just to get them banned.
I like that when anytime someone uses SJW in a derogatory manor, you know right off the bat what kind of person they are and can ignore everything else they say about whatever it is they’re bitching about.
When they said “Welcome to the Spanish Inquisition,” my first thought was literally “Well I wasn’t expecting that...”
