If Pokemon is still being developed with an in-house (i.e., Game Freak) game engine, maybe it’s time to set aside that idea and go find another engine that someone else made. It doesn’t have to be UE or Unity; I’m sure Nintendo has at least some general suite of tools they could use. If they don’t have to worry about

Also add some sort of shelf-stable food and water to this. While I’m sure disaster relief efforts should be able to provide them, I’d imagine it’d take a few days to set up distribution channels.

But is competitive Pokemon just a test of who has better stats because they had the freedom to actually invest in getting there? Or should it be a test of a players decision making skills when building their team and selecting their moves?

Was going to say this. I use something similar to

I believe what they meant by leaving the car out to cool is to let the engine cool, along with all of the oil and coolant. A quick Google search tells me oil and coolant can get above 200F (93C), and there’s a lot of both on top of the engine block.

I’m pretty sure if I max out the Gaussian blur slider, it’s about the same as changing that section into a 1x1 image then blowing it up.

On top of that, cats generally give you warning signs (e.g., hissing) to stop bothering it.

A sun shade can do wonders for shorter periods (like 30min to an hour).

If a “PC gamer” gets offended by these, they’re just douchebags.

As someone who has an NVIDIA card, I don’t really care because FSR runs on NVIDIA cards anyway. And a lot of the reason why I got an NVIDIA card is the featureset between NVIDIA and AMD cards overlap anyway.

While I’m sure it’ll still work, I have a feeling that having something immediately in front of the intake side of the fan may reduce its performance.

I feel like the headline is confusing, because the poll seemed to list all of the major US based passenger airline carriers.

This may vary depending on your electricity rates and general climate, but after insulating your home, another option is to run the AC extra cool at night (so if you’re aiming for 78F during the day, you may want to go down to say 68F at night).

If you were running a business that somehow managed to obtain an “offensive amount of money”, what would you do?

Because it’s yet another thing to carry and people carry their chargers anyway. So unless you hit a really bad time of the year to travel, outlets are generally available.

This sort of conversation makes me think we should just focus on making the RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX cost $300 because nobody really cares about image quality that much anymore.

A crash course in fractional-reserve banking would add to the article I think.

The “kind regards” thing stuck out to me. I want to say it’s a cultural thing. I worked for a company who’s HQ was not in the US, so I interacted with a lot of people who were from outside the US and they often used that to close their emails.

The funny thing is I’m pretty sure the IRS already gets a copy of every form your employer sends out to get a basic picture of your tax situation.

I ran into this problem while playing the fan remake for Half-Life: Blue Shift (it’s a mod available for Black Mesa). While the level presentation was excellent, a lot of the times the design of what to do or where to go made it a source of frustration for me. As an example, at some point they introduce a mechanic,
