To use a fallacy, since I can’t think of anything else, your “true” fans would understand.
The PC may not have an internet connection. Seeing how OP mentioned using a thumb drive as a toolbox, requiring an internet connection to get your tools seems counter-productive.
I’d recommend one more tool: GPU-Z. It’s basically CPU-Z, but for graphics hardware. Especially since GPU-Z can now figure out if a graphics card is fake.
Allegedly in the past, they were called fire foxes. So the image is appropriate. Not the source, but see http://mentalfloss.com/article/58331/22-brilliant-old-nicknames-animals for other names we called animals that we stopped using in common practice.
Every time I’ve seen a report on this woman’s murder, they’ve always mentioned she was playing Pokemon Go. Is that what makes it special?
Because if it is, welp.
They should be donating all proceeds they get selling this on top of the $50K they promised.
Or that overused fire/explosion GIF.
I was looking for a vehicle one time on Craiglist (probably not the best place to look, but then this story wouldn’t have happened) and I noticed the seller didn’t put a VIN on the listing. As I wanted to run the VIN through Car Fax, I asked the seller for the VIN. They said “no, you purchase the vehicle first, then…
Reading the article in full, looking around, and recalling an article about this I read earlier in the morning (but I guess coffee didn’t kick in), it’s not just any kind of screen protector. The articles I’ve read specifically said a “gel type” screen protector. I’m not sure what those are, but to me it makes sense…
If you’re reducing character creation to this amount of time, then either:
Didn’t Samsung specifically make a warning about this on the phone’s launch and the sole reason why the phone came with a screen protector pre-installed?
I mean, bigotry maybe in the sense that they would prefer locals over others, but I see this more as a poor choice of words because the proprietors are trying to convey something in a language they’re not familiar with.
Even if it’s well-intentioned or unintentional bigotry, it’s still bigotry.
You’re also assuming that said shop owner is even aware of Google Translate (despite the depiction that Japan is technologically advanced, lots of Japanese don’t actually care for or use higher technology in every day practice) or that they know the “correct” thing to say in Japanese to relay the actual intent in a…
OP. The shop owners aren’t visiting another country after all :P
Assuming the worst in people immediately without trying to understand their intentions and/or context sort of belies the first point.
It’s part of sunlight, and your eyes are exposed to plenty of it all the time. You’re fine.
Thanks for the heads up, but you can find fire-resistant boxes that can keep the inside down to 125F, which is what most hard drives operate at anyways.
