You think OSX turning into iOS will drive people to Windows? Have you tried Windows 8? It's out of the frying pan and into the fire. Sure, they might go with a more iOS orientated interface, but they underlying code is still going to be OS X. It has to be for backwards compatibility sake. They're still going to need engineers who know that OS code inside out. I think this is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Thankfully Facebook added the great feature where you can go to your timeline and choose to view it as the public would see it. It helps to make sure you've got things locked down correctly.

Asking for something, unless it's an illegal act, service or substance, is rarely breaking any laws and I'd ask you to point to which law them asking for your password is breaking. Unethical, yes, but not illegal as far as I know.
