Diaz was never married to Brad Pitt. She never got cheated on by Brad Pitt and Brad Pitt didn't spend an entire decade rubbing her face in his insta-family. Just because Diaz and Aniston are both women doesn't make their storyline the same.

I think the bigger difference here is that Clooney has gone on record as never wanting to get married again, while Aniston hasn't. Think about it: Cameron Diaz, who is Aniston's contemporary, doesn't get the same "sad and alone" tag that Aniston does - because she doesn't seem to be necessarily angling for a ring.…
