Played a game of Splatoon 2 once with somebody named Swingin Dick. Good times.

One of 2023's best games seems to have landed with a rather heavy wet thud at Kotaku. The first paragraph of the Kotaku review by John Walker reads as follows:

It’s a slow-paced artsy walking simulator centered around a rather heavy-handed social message.

Two years later, Season finally did arrive to tons of critical acclaim.

About 20 years ago I distinctly remember seeing the newly-released Infiniti FX45 on display at my local mall. It looked like the freaking Batmobile and ran on 20" wheels, which were almost unheard of on production cars at the time. Around that time they came out with the G35, which was supposed to be a really good car.

Ah yes, Infiniti buyers are one of the most easily stereotyped buyer groups imo, coming from experience selling another brand and having a former coworker who previously sold them.

The G35 and G37 coupes are the poster-child for the “I’ve already wrecked a Altima/350Z and I want an upgrade for the next car I’m about to destroy” type, but I’ll be damned if they aren’t great looking cars - especially the G37 coupe. I’d drive one with with TASTEFUL, subtle mods, all day long.

For a brief period in the mid 2000s Infiniti had it. The G35 and M45 were winning comparisons and beating the Germans at their own game. Then they got lazy and completely dropped the ball.

Exactly so.  They have literally the dullest lineup of any of the luxury(ish) automakers, and they don’t even compensate for that with well-made, reliable vehicles.

The biggest change with the new logo is that the “Infiniti Road” now goes into the grille. If, however, the radiator and engine sit behind the grille (which was the case last I checked), makes this road far more finite.

My wife bought a new QX60 about a decade ago. She would have gone with the MDX if she hadn’t had bad dealership service department experiences with her previous RDX, and it was right before the refresh of the Volvo XC90.

My boss purchased, if you can believe it, a QX80, arguably the worst value in cars for the better part of a decade. Why? He said buying it was more akin to what GM dealers were doing in the 90's and practically giving them away with little to no haggling and lots of discounts. So, in summation, if you want all the

It would cost me more money than I’m currently paying for my vehicle, but I would like to check one of these out in person.

I. Want. One.

G550 starts at $140k, these are not really competitors other than in size. The Defender 110 though is. To be fair, the cheaper 110's look pretty bad and the defender 110 that has a similar output is $5-10k more than this GX will be.

Current GX starts at just under $60k, I would expect this to be starting around $62k or so. Top trims may be $90k or so though with your $75k as a mid-point.

The “earth” colored GX shown is the Overtrail which is a 2 row only. The more basic premium and luxury still offer 3 rows.

I love the Defender 110 and the GX. But only one of them will rarely have to see the dealer for work.

That would put it at basically the same price as the current model.
