Here in Minneapolis most manhole covers come from Neenah Foundry in Neenah, WI. I believe the last time I visited Chicago their manhole covers came from the same place. WTF NYC?

It’s because the returns on either classic cars, or used exotics is a new asset class for the rich - they are now a tool for investment just like art. The returns on these cars are higher than they are on real estate, or the stock market (yes there are exceptions: Tesla, Apple, etc).
