You can fix it by fixing the tune on the engine. They pull timing/fuel (I forget which TBH) mid-range to pass emissions.

Just want to note that the FA24F (DIT) is turbo-ed and expected to be good for > 350 HP if (when) it’s developed and implemented in the next gen STI. An NA FA24D (D-4S) would certainly be good for ~240 HP though as noted.
