Didn’t even see that. Hopefully the guy/gal is just tone deaf?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but your initial response was “I’d be so happy to find one.” Which upon being shown a few immediately turned into, “Well yea, if you look across the country of course you’ll find one.” But I’m the one with the stick up my ass?
Then it turns out the secret to happiness for you really just involves looking harder...
*cough*

JK get this one. It’s perfect.
*cough*
To those saying it’s not possible to find one, it’s technically possible. Maybe not plausible, but possible.

This ones not perfect, but its stock-ish for under $5,000 with a manual in a high demand market. So it’s theoretically possible!
Yea, that effect is already being seen. There have been a number of low cost solutions out of start-ups and major companies over the last couple years.
Essentially yea. You could try and get fancier with it and have these autonomous shuttles ping to various RFID chips along a path instead of trying to run a constant tracking line, but some sort of physical path mapping would need to be done.
Lidar is the only commonly used stand alone method for creating an accurate 3D model of a surrounding environment. There are other ways to attempt it (A combination of ultrasonic sensor arrays, normal image processing, and radar), but they aren’t as accurate. Lidar is expensive though, so Tesla is desperate to avoid…
My bet is on localized autonomy as transport in sectioned off portions of cities as a support for conventional transport and high speed rails.
I mean seeing out the windshield is pretty unnecessary when you’re just holding on for dear life anyways.
I just threw up
Give it the 2.0L TT and a manual and tell me where to sign
Things like this make me genuinely worry about the future of the WRX/STI. As Subaru’s sales keep skyrocketing up they’re starting to turn up their noses at enthusiasts more and more. First they took away our hatchback. Now an STI without any power increase from a base model. What’s next? A 4,000+ lb WRX??
