In a shock, I actually see comments in here where individuals on JEZEBEL are saying some former criminals shouldn’t get their rights back. They specifically called out child molesters, murders, things like that. Not the first time I have seen that argument, even from dems.

If they served their time, why shouldn’t they be allowed to vote, no matter the crime?

In this particular case, i’m going to agree with the GOP. This is purely for mass votes in the General. And I am willing to bet, since it appears it has to be renewed monthly, as soon as that election is over, so are the renewals.
