Crazy I never knew! Thanks for educating me.

Ok so I’m not really super bike-literate. Why all the hate for the ‘busa?

More importantly, I was reminded how attractive those C70s are.

Maybe it’s because fully 80% of the vehicles we work on in my shops are FWD that I’m just so used to it.

Correct. When he said 3.0 V6 that automatically meant it was a coupe because the Sedan came with the lamentable (but great sounding with aftermarket exhaust) 2.7.

That’s all I have to say.

    Hella Kinja points, bro.

Try replacing a power steering pump (common failure) on the Intrepid 3.3 then get back to me. I’ll take anything transverse any day as they’re usually well packaged and easily serviceable.

The wheelbase of the Stratus is longer and many body panels are unique but, yes, the mechanicals are very much Mitsubishi.

300M is the 2nd generation of the cab forward cars. They are better packaged then the first gen cars.

Not when packaged in a cab-forward, front wheel drive vehicle.

To your point, when I was in high school the car I wanted more than anything was a green second gen Stratus coupe. So much so that I had a picture I printed out on a shitty inkjet and tacked to my wall above my bed. I’m pretty sure this was the first car I ever “built” on a configurator.

So I commented saying it was absolutely one of the best cars of the 90s.

    EVERYBODY...

This was absolutely one of the best cars of the 90s.

You totally, completely missed the point of this discussion.

The lower gas prices that we had over the winter

The tire hit the turbo up front. Big piece of tire was flapping about.

This shifter is on the wrong side.
