In my book, if you are wildly intellectually incurious, then you are stupid. Trump has no depth — just surface. He’s a good promoter and marketer, and he has some kind of gift for connecting with people, but he is not an erudite man. He has no deep thoughts, no gift for deep analysis or putting things in historical

Would you all just shut the fuck up about global warming?!

“It’d be like Trump going to Arlington National Cemetery and bitching about the ratings for his State of the Union.” give him time it’s just his first week.

And those disgusting shitbuckets supporters of his won’t care one iota.

It’s suppose to be a place to honor those who died in the line of duty. Trump basically pissed on a tombstone.

oh, but we didnt demoralize him, sean - he came to us, quite honestly, without any morals at all.

Yup. That’s why I had a pretty great high after attending our tiny hastily thrown together march. In an area that went hard for Trump in a swing state it was downright heartwarming seeing hundreds of like-minded individuals. I made a ton of acquaintances with progressives in an area I ALWAYS felt alone in.

After the march my wife and I attended a conference called ‘Rise Above’ sponsored by ‘Lawyers for Good Government’ which was designed to help people continue the movement beyond just marching for a day. One of the speakers from Black Lives Matters talked about the importance of being an ‘accomplice, not an ally’

I work for an advocacy organization. We all went to the march, with our friends and our families.

On a serious note, the more sports people who talk about Spicer and the administration’s lying (let’s call it what it is, lamestream media), the less it can be ignored and explained away by Trump’s base.

What’s more important, making Roger unhappy or making Trump unhappy? I’m choosing the latter - GO FALCONS

I don’t really care one way or the other. I don’t think the next four years are going to be remembered for their outstanding First Lady.

Actually, we got a silver lining far sooner than that. When the Dems swept in after the 2006 midterms and took back the House. It led to Barack Obama. Hopefully, 2018 can be that prelude. Though, it’s even harder than it was in 2006 because of further gerrymandering.

Counterpoint: a silver lining on an umbrella would be tacky, heavy, and useless.

Existence is transitory. Suffering will end alongside joy, fear, hope, and desire. All life will eventually return to nothingness.

Re: #4: That’s an Irish Wolfhound! We have one named Freya, and here are some pictures of her because you all deserve them:

Broader context: Dozens of protests happening in different places, most without issue (per the DC police chief’s own statement a few hours ago). The only one that’s gotten really bad so far was the 12th and K scene, which the Washington post live steam was reporting on as a group of about ~50 self-described

Right? like, my two year old behaves better when he’s upset about something.

Can’t we do a little better than smashing windows and burning things?
