three thoughts:
1) The basic plot/continuity error of a 5 or 6 hour drive being a two-day roadtrip hurts this episode immensely and should have been caught by someone in production.
 
2) Braverman of the Week is actually Brian Williams for breaking in 10 minutes to the end and telling us that there was no news in Iowa.

There are so many logic problems with this show, but the most blatant one happened this week. I have a hard time with the dues ex machina behavioral change of Sydney. She goes from slapping, kicking, etc to a handshake just by playing chess with Zeek?

Silence.
Exactly.
It works. 
Normal people have pauses when they speak. No one except on this show tries to cram :60 of normal dialogue into :40 secs.
It's in nearly every scene with Amber and/or Sarah. (example: scene where Amber tells Sarah she's not going to the baby shower)
The writers / actors are trying to be…
