The last name I’d really want to use is his mother’s maiden name, but, even though his family is super accepting and super openminded, I think their heads would all explode. In unison. Not to mention my own family, who still can’t believe I “kept” my name.

My Mom did this for me and I *hated* it as a kid because her last name was not a normal middle name for a girl, but now I realize how cool it was! And the irony is, my sister got a traditional first-ish type name as her middle name and envied me. :)

My Mom did this to me and it used to PISS me off because I didn’t have a “real” type first name as my middle name. Now I realize it was a badass move.

We’re stumped by this too. We both kept our last names and are wondering what we’ll do with kids—likewise, our names don’t hyphenate well AT ALL and will lead to assloads of playground teasing.

Gaslighting is a helluva drug. And, less charitably, I’ll also say...denial is a helluva drug.

Shiiiiiiiiiiit. And I typically come on here defending my adopted city, even as a former Dallasite and Austinite.

I love this list! Family road trips are the start of one of the most critical educations a parent can give their child—on the greatness of music from other generations. I teach Spin classes to a VERY mixed demographic, and so many 60-70 year olds practically get down on their knees to thank me for playing something

Exactly how I felt about this—when you have an SOB that is THAT crazy, the consequences of a piece of paper aren’t going to change his mind.

I’m only one day into it, and I am SO heartened with how UN-tedious the side quests are in comparison to Elder Scrolls. You don’t pick up a quest and then have to head to the middle of no where, far from fast travels or any other place you’ve been yet, just to complete them. I was dreading this inevitable component of

I just had to buy a goddamn video game chair for this problem! 52” TV and I’m less than 10 feet away. As us original gamers age, you’d think developers would make text legible.

This is exactly how I feel every time the damn computer puts down a bullshit word, which is every time!

Looooove this topic. I enjoy the company of my Kindle more than most humans while getting my wine and cheese on!

As a very short person who lives in the same city this guy does, I need to know where this store is.

Married a Canadian....cannot upvote this post enough. Some things are stereotypes for a reason.
