Swingarm has to come apar to get teh continous belt off for replacement. No link. that split is necessary. Although I’d like to have seen it with a smaller gap, or different interface. I’m sure its location and esign is about structural integraity.

Sean: I love the look of the bike but I’m worried about the forward controls. I come from the off-road world and some time on a Multistrada. Not being a Harley/Crusier rider I don’t have any experience with the forward position. I read your article on the Dyna and it it you say:

Accessory central peg kit is to be available. But no photos of it on or otherwise. See Ducatis site under “60 ergonomic configurations” Several seats, 3 bars and 4 footpeg locations (central one is an accessory)
For me, I immediately want to see where exactly the central peg kit puts the pegs. If they are comfortable and I’m not squatted to use them, then maybe central controls and leave the old pegs for resting. Next for me, the rearward handlebars so I can get as uprigt as possible. That’s a back problem thing.
I will. I’m a lifelong off-road racer. I want something somfy to take to the store, an occasional commute to work, I don’t wnat the every-old-yuppie-has-one harley.
