Who cares what a car is “worth”.

I’ve dealt with so many people who are like “Its a $1000 repair on a $2000 vehicle!” OK who cares.

your options:
1. Sell your $2000 car for $500, and buy a new $3000 car which will have the same problems in 6 months.
2. Fix your $2000 car for $1000.

Option 1- Your wallet is $2500 lighter
Opt

I don’t think you are quite clear on the difference between “want” and “need”

I’m sure it gets used more than that, but if you truly only use the extra space once a year, that is really a silly decision. Let’s play this out with a real comparison.

“I buy products that meet 100% of my needs.”

You and your planet can fuck right off with that “only what you need” bullshit.

Anything is better than that god-awful 6-speed PowerShift.

Anger management issues much?

Trump gets to pretend he got a huge deal and rebrand NAFTA. The echo chambers and conservative media will only play the hits and ignore those other facts, and his base will think he’s a hero.

Yeah, we really need an EPA ‘dickbag’ driving cycle

You’re forgetting that people, especially the car buying public, are pretty dumb. If they FEEL like they would get better fuel economy by switching from a cuv to a sedan, they will. Even if EPA estimates or real world numbers say otherwise.

That thinking is a pattern/problem that I seem to have noticed - on both sides of the situation (manufacturer and customer): the comparison of a sedan to a CUV - a CUV which is entirely smaller.

As people have pointed out, the “tax” a cossover/small SUV puts on the gas pump is nearly the same as a larger sedan....

There is an article in the guardian about Americans for Prosperity and how they specifically began targetting WI as the birthplace of modern organized labor in the US.  This wasnt random, it was targetted destruction to destroy Unions.  Unions arent perfect, but this constant mantra of how they make things more

“...In other news, Volkswagen subsidiary ‘Tesla’ has been caught cheating on emissions testing.  Scientists are looking into how this is even possible...”

Never ever remove rail infrastructure even it means leaving under rhe weeds for decades... is what I learned in property valuation while licensing for real esteate appraisal

Google Earth show a rail spur with its own siding that drops right into the plant. Right next to a major rail line. I love the disruptive techniques when the first thing they ignore is the easy ways to do some things.

Once again folks..

So basically what you’re saying is Elon is taking the usual approach of blaming something other than himself or the company for whatever the shortfall of the week is. Next week it’ll be something about there not being enough roads.

I would add that Federal and state tax and services cuts have had an incredibly negative effect on city budgets, as the cities are the ones having to pick up the slack.

So this is going to be the smoking gun for the success of Tesla. They’re going to build their own car carriers.
