Exactly, so many commentors and writers keep pushing the same BS narrative. We won’t see $100 oil again without something really crazy happening in the geo-political arena. Sedans have been replaced with CUVs that make negligibly worse MPG than their contemporary counterparts. Even truck and SUV gas mileage is way up.

It really doesn’t make sense anymore. My mom’s Escape with the 2.0T gets 27 mpg average compared to my s/o’s focus that averages 30. There simply isn’t a big enough difference to make people give a shit.

oh shit, well ok, Mr. Galt, my obsequious apologies! Ill be sure to kiss my bosses asses better from now on to signal my deep appreciation for their utter lack of caring about me. Got it.

I’m honestly pretty impressed by just how much of a colossal fuckup Brexit has become. Who knew that giving in to paranoid, racist delusions could be bad for a country?

If you drive something that is reaching 94db on public roads, I have no mercy for you and your days off work. Limits have to be set and cannot be some kind of grey area.

I would have preferred it for Rolls Royce to just flat out call for a repeal of Article 50. Whatever deal Brexit v No deal Brexit is not a choice. Someone big needs to have the guts to say it's a fucking bad idea and they should stay in the EU.

Amen to this.

So is there a way to build it with the engine in the back? Asking for GM.

This kit makes total sense..

About 1% of Americans actually tow things regularly, cargo a lot of gear, and go offroad*. SUVs and crossovers accounted for 47% of all passenger vehicles sold.

What’s not to understand? It’s a less efficient subway system that requires you to provide your own expensive-ass car which must be painstakingly retrofitted with training wheels, travels slower than freeway traffic on the surface, has limited destinations, and allows you to experience the existential thrill of what

In this one specific case. And all he got done is a temporary lowering of the tariff China put in place in retaliation to the tariffs Trump put in place. To do this, Trump had to suspend his initial tariff. All this did was put us back to status quo ante. This is a temporary cease fire. Nothing has been accomplished.

Trump sees tariffs as the ends, not the means. This will not be the end. The man doesn’t understand international trade on a fundamental level.

I hear the same argument from my friends with Libertarian ideology. It completely ignores that people can’t just quit and leave jobs they don’t like if there isn’t already another job waiting on them or a strong welfare state capable of supporting them and their families until they get that job. I’ve had to put up

Musk was angry. At a minimum, you should be on phone calls, Musk told the man. Having a kid doesn’t prevent you from being on the phone.

I swear, these tech companies all need to implement a very specific position.

This could be due to multiple factors, possibly the fact that most of the plants are from European and Japanese car makers who have different business models, but not having the UAW does help.

The cost to recruit and train said workers.

So what? Doesn't mean anything in terms of the search algorithm. Furthermore, even if they were biased (they aren't) they do not have to answer to congress. Whole thing was a waste of everyone's time.

I've noticed a lot of people in my area take-off much quicker than they used to, but they don't always accelerate any quicker. Most of those people are also terrible at maintaining speed. It's like an old video game, tapping the X/A to accelerate.
