Air France?  No, you’ve got that all wrong.  If it was Air France, the tanker would be on strike.

Go to your room right now and think about your blasphemy, young man!

The 757 was awesome. Incredible thrust:weight, crazy climb rates, etc.

If you didn’t like the seats the airline used, blame the airline, not the plane.

The Honda certified program takes the 3yr/36k mile warranty and 5yr/60k powertrain warranty and adds 1 year to the bumper-to-bumper (so 4yr from original inservice or 1 year if out of original warranty), and boosts the powertrain to 7yr/100k.

These warranties actually have minimal effective value for an average car.

BINGO!

4th:  Every subscription plan I’ve seen is a ripoff.  A local dealer started up one - $950 a month to START and about the highest end vehicle you can get at that price runs around $35,000.  You can easily lease one of the same vehicles, get insurance, and then rent one of the other classes of vehicles in the

CARS are still $20k. Plenty of options around that price. Accord, Camry, Fusion, Malibu, Altima, etc - all in the $19-23k range.

All that extra power so drivers can destroy their engines that much faster...

This is a gross overstatement.

It’s normal for banks, but at many large companies, there aren’t many VP level positions.  There are roughly 85,000 employees at my company and we’re at around 40 VPs.

Well, the basic A330-200 can handle a payload of over 49,000 kg. The freighter version ups that to over 68,000 kg - you can cut out a lot of weight from seating, overhead bins, trim panels, creature comfort features, etc, plus it is designed for somewhat shorter range - and that’s with the same engines on both.

These

No, its simply that things have changed.

The original Sync was very good for its time. Voice controls had historically sucked and they were pretty much the first to get it done reasonably well.

Sync 2 sucked. BAD. That’s when their complaints skyrocketed.

Sync 3 switched from Microsoft to Blackberry’s QNX and immediately

Sad thing is that this design, while looking to be all over the place, is actually one of the best ergonomic designs done in ages. It was confusing as hell when you first sat in it, but after an hour or two of driving, you found that you never had to look at the dash again - controls were simple to find, alignment

This.

These top-mounted ones look less integrated and are no easier to replace than integrated ones, nor less dependent on a specific manufacturer’s exact screen.

If they would have simply given you a plug to put in an Android tablet or iPad of certain maximum dimensions, they would have had a much better solution.

The Accord is a “small” car?  WTF?

So that’s by far the worst I’ve ever seen in terms of integration and ease of removal. Most I’ve seen are no worse than removing a standard DIN radio.

But here you go, just DIY - it isn’t too hard:

Sad thing is that most of them aren’t easier to replace at all.  In either case you’re still looking at just popping a couple bezels off and removing 2-4 screws and you’re done.

Idiot just cost himself a few thousand extra dollars....

The ridiculous thing about this:

While Cadillac came out with the Catera, Lincoln came out with the LS. It was clear at the time that Cadillac was flopping badly and Lincoln was actually producing a legitimate contender - maybe not on par with some of its import competition, but close and with enough of a price

Exactly.

If he tweeted that he was interested in taking the company private, and thought $400/sh was a good target, and was trying to line up funding, THAT would have been accurate and a legal statement.

1st:

This is beyond stupid.

There are firms that specialize in the logistics of delivering vehicles from plants to customers, and they do so quickly and at very reasonable prices. Quite literally every other manufacturer utilizes them.

Why the hell can’t Tesla figure this out?

It doesn’t matter if he’s buying or selling - especially as he has a well known grudge against shorts and knows that such a statement would cost them financially.
