Back when this version was first announced, a trailer mentioned that connecting this version to the Wii U game would unlock the additional content. Pretty much the only reason I would get it.

What’s the point of this? The gameplay is so tied to the console it was on that a port seems silly. It’s like when they ported No More Heroes to PS3. Why play that with a standard controller. You could use Move, but who even had that?

Did you play Peace Walker? Because it sounds like everyone in here complaining about "the last entry in the series" has only played up to MGS4. Kojima directed Peace Walker too and it was phenomenal. At least as good as Snake Eater.
