Tried ordering that exact part from that website. It’s no longer in stock, but they apparently don’t bother updating their inventory. :/

My 850 is currently in dire need of said bomb. Driving me nuts.

They’re far heavier, safer, and more powerful. And far, far technologically superior. Looking at just the fuel economy doesn’t show the whole picture and paints it unfairly.

I disagree. External pressure has always yielded the greatest and quickest improvements in manufacturing and related industries. Think of it this way. At the beginning of WW2, there were prop planes. At the end of it, there were jet fighters. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of applicable situations to prove this

Bikes are slower than cars on a track, though... I can never get the same cornering speeds in my 2005 ZZR1200 (with aftermarket well tuned everything) as my 350Z (also with aftermarket well tuned everything). :P That’s long sweepers too, a stock Miata would probably decimate a Panigale on a tight auto X course.

I see article after article of cutting down on car emissions, but I don’t see much about sea transport and just how much bad crap those ships put in our atmosphere. I’ve read that the big supertankers equate to 1 million cars a day(!) but I don’t feel like Googling to make sure that’s accurate.

I don’t get the hatred for the new one. It’s a product of its time, and looks different enough from the 6 IMO.

The E31 also replaced the 6 series back in the day. They didn’t overlap (if they did, maybe by a year or two) and one replaced the other. It’s the same thing happening again, except this time we have the internet and thus the means for trolls to bash BMW for it.

Beirut is pretty small. If there’s no traffic, I can drive all around it in about 30 minutes. That airport is tiny, too. Only 1 “terminal”.

As the very happy owner of a 350Z, I.... agree with your statement. :P

I specified Saudi’s involvement in 9/11 rather than AQ, and didn’t mention any other terrorist groups or affiliations in my statement. Is it nice being a pedant who didn’t even comprehend what I was saying? Read to understand, not to reply. ;)

You really need to cut down on the Hollywood movies, man. You make it seem that we all beg for the Great USA’s help whenever we need help crossing a road. Stop flattering yourself. I’ll stick to my “3rd world” Middle Eastern country that taught me the difference between “their”, “there” and “they’re”, thank you very

“Gitmo intel helped locate many top leaders of AQ.” Newer info has pointed the finger at Saudi Arabia, not Al Qaeda, for 9/11. So that intel meant nothing in the long run, and any intel that pointed back to Al Qaeda is obviously bullshit and a waste of resources. The US seems excellent at that.

Well done.

I know I’m being a bit pedantic, but what bugged me the most was the dubbing over when you had an in-car view with the dash visible. The engine sounds weren’t always corresponding to the driver’s input.

He definitely picked the right car for it. The earlier ones are more reliable due to a lack of biodegradable wiring harnesses. Don’t know what Merc were thinking there..

I forgot to mention.. Most things that need repair that are behind the front axle need the subframe/engine lowered or removed.

If you’re the type to NOT MODIFY A TURBO CAR, then this isn’t so bad. Once the tuning bug hits, you are in a world of hurt.

Hey David, it’s not surprising as it is “motor” in all dialects of Arabic. I think most Spanish and Italians also use some derivative of motor.

First gen Infinity G35 coupe. It’s cheap, it’s dead reliable, it can be easily found as an auto or a stick. It’s as moddable as you want it to be while being perfectly good in bone stock trim, if that’s what you want. Also it looks good, and has rear seats.
