Oh GOD the drone. My subwoofer is going to kill itself trying to convey it to me. No joke. :P Sounds nice besides that drone somewhere in the lower-mid range when it lets off.

Cam? What cam?

A bolt on LS motor is far, far from lazy, man. Only high performance German V8's are “lazy” from the factory. You get what you pay for, no?
I see your point. Another way to look at this, though, is that decisions aren’t nearly as clear and obvious when you’re on the ground/in war time. It’s easy for us to poke holes in their plans 25 years later, but who knows what they were going through at the time.
My approach to dealing with carbon buildup is installing an aftermarket methanol system on the car. Methanol cools down most things and more importantly prevents the carbon buildup, and with the appropriate tune, you’ve added significant power as well. You’ll pay less than a thousand dollars for the kit, and probably…
Doesn’t seem to be working from Lebanon. IP not allowed. Boo. :(
Best show ever. LOVED it.
Own one. Can confirm.
This and nothing else.
Right?
You’re confusing eras. The E-Class before this one had the shitty biodegradable electronic harnesses and lots of electric problems as a result.
Not fair to consider it that way either.
Yes, please ruin the car by installing the lighter, more powerful engine. Suffer from the bigger aftermarket, suffer from the insane power levels you get both N/A and FI, suffer from the better fuel economy, suffer from the instant response, noise, and charisma bestowed upon most V8’s. Suffer away. The 1/2JZ motors…
There IS a functioning government in Syria, whether you like it or not. I still have family there. Stop watching TV.
Disagree for one simple reason. Turkey has also bombed Syria. They cannot be the aggressors and they cry foul when someone flies over their airspace. War or not, Syria still has a government, and I highly doubt the Turks took permission before breaching Syrian airspace.
15 years ago? Nah. The most powerful S8 in the early 2000’s had 355 from a 4.2 V8. Lovely car.
A friend of mine had one of these a couple of years ago. Things I loved about this car were the extremely linear powerband, the small block V8 torque (Windsor 5.0 made similar torque figures), and believe it or not, the way it handled.
More than half of those sympathizers are civilians who have to take ISIS’ side or die. What choice do you think you would make, come crunch time? Live the way they want (and your family lives), or death by beheading and your body thrown in a gutter?
