@Sidetalker: trc202 is correct. Take BluRay discs, for example. The data on the discs is encrypted and without the key, it's useless. Well, someone figured out the key and cracked BluRay encryption. With that key in hand, you can access any of the data on the disc. It's the same situation for this hard drive. You

Unless someone hacks it... No data is ever safe if it still exists. What it should have is a built in electromagnet and batter so if it loses power, it wipes the platters with a blast of electromagnetic energy. Sure, it might mess up other stuff, but if you're looking for real security, that's what you need.

I really wish I could steal some money and then get fired with a severance package that is 2500% of what I stole. It seems like it would have been cheaper to just let it go...

@burninator: I heartily concur. Sad that they can't even go out and build a real fire to take a picture. Oh well.

@RaySquared: Apple only makes love for money.

@Strider-No.9: Update (6) Correction: put this to rest for the time being

@Mike Worldcrusher: They did a good job on the teeth and the brows though. Or is that not 'shopped? :)

Btw, your 'shopping needs a little work around the edges. The grey skin turns to a normal color at their neckline and on the ears. I just thought I would be a dick and point that out.

@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: If it's powerful enough, the minute particles of dust, pollen, vapor, and other miscellaneous solid/vapor particles suspended in the air will reflect light off of them. Clouds are suspended water vapor, so they will definitely reflect the laser's light back at you.

This is beautiful. It's a very welcome change in design from the normal drab airport designs that more closely resemble shipping facilities.

@Slinkytech: If you shine it through something that will reflect light, yes. The picture above is shining it through some smoke or dry ice vapor, so the light reflects off of the particles suspended in the air.

@Raven Riley: Oh man. Now I'm really confused. First, I wasn't sure if this was a real lightsaber or if it was a laser. Now I don't know if this is intended as ski equipment or a laser! Someone please sue them to clear this up for me! :)

I love the picture. He seems to be thinking "Yea, I'm pretty much the nicest guy ever and I'm happy now." Which I would totally agree with at this point.

@Andy S: Yep. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer and I'm 6'2". I drive with my legs spread apart and my feet at an angle.

We had one of those when I was a kid. Identical design, except it was plastic instead of wood.

@Trickyhop: It was more <sarcasm>Ya, stop caring about social issues </sarcasm> and keep selling cookies.

Oh come on. If you think that photoshopped images of women are the most unrealistic thing in the media, boy, you've got another thing coming.

@acidrain69: My iPhone 3GS is the only apple product I've purchased in my life, and I don't plan on buying any others. I just can't afford to switch to Verizon because of the cost of two new phones and their higher service rates. I have to stick with what I have right now, which happens to be an iPhone.

@The_Other_White_Meat: I really want to, but Verizion seems to have the best Android phones but they're $30 more a month for the same service and I would have to fork out $400 for two new phones for my wife and I. I can't afford to quit Apple... *cries*
