The thing I hate most about a lot of new cars is the lack of a volume knob on the stereo. I have a 2008 Lancer GTS and it has the steering wheel controls for the stereo, which are nice, but I really want a knob I can reach out and turn to crank it up to 10 or quickly make it quiet.

@aja175: Yea, Apple... oh wait, this is an article about M$... #rayozzie

@j05hu4: So it's lazy for a programmer to use C# and utilize the .NET framework? #rayozzie

I would tend to agree with his assessment. The apps between app stores aren't that much different. Apple's app store has a lot more simply because it's older than the rest. While the apps a phone has to offer is a minor selling point, the phone's app selection isn't the main course. Hardware, the UI, and brand

@MarcusMaximus: Hmmm... I would guess grits, not mashed potatoes since there are already potatoes in the delicious scene. #baconsunrise

This is the best bacon art I've seen. I want to eat it... Nom nom nom nom... #baconsunrise

@Fekdep: Is experts exchange really worth the money? I've never run into a problem where I couldn't find an answer to the same question on another site, for free. Also, all the replies and answers to threads are at the very bottom of the page when you're not logged in. :) #internet

The only online media I would pay for is Netflix or Hulu (if it had more timely updates), which aren't truly online media. It's offline media rebroadcast online. But as far as text-based media online, I don't plan on ever paying for it. As soon as sites I read start charging to get in, I'll just find another site

@KassiaHaoe: Like they said, they don't believe he's smart enough to have done that. Remember we're talking about Harlem here... #crime

@LazyPanda: Hmmm... I think so... I get the same message when stepping forward to be in the intersection. #googlestreetview

I hope they continue to offer the ones that make your eyes black. It's creepy and cool. If I still wore contacts (thanks lasik!)... I'd look into these. #transitioncontacts

The thing I don't get about fallout shelters that are anything short of an underground city is what the exit strategy is. If you're hiding underground to escape the radiation, you're going to be down there a VERY long time before it's safe to come out. If you're in a little steel box like this, you'll starve to death

Ugh... There's no way this is any good. There's nothing like the feeling and sounds of a weighty iron ball smashing into things. There are some things you just can't reproduce digitally. #digitalpinball

Thanks for sharing such a great story! I was in a similar state with Ultima Online in 99-02. I was in high school, so the reality of living the game wasn't as harsh. I was going to school, working 38.5 hours a week (maximum for "part time"), and sleeping 3-5 hours a night. The rest of my waking hours were spent

I think Google should be able to block any numbers they damn well please. If you want to call a number Google blocks, just pick up the phone THAT YOU WERE ALREADY USING with Google Voice and dial the number yourself. Google isn't a phone service provider, they're a third party service that makes use of telephony

WOW. It looked like he was just holding on with his hands. That's incredibly dangerous, ballsy, and awesome.

@Novaload: For #1, could have been a cow or a large wild boar.
