I never said it was a right, (and I don’t remember either giving up or throwing a temper tantrum) but it does build customer loyalty. And anyone involved with making money for Nintendo should have seen that changing the plan and continuing production on the NES classic would make them a boatload more money, especially

Nintendo made their money off of every unit that people are reselling. They lost nothing.

Except respect and customer loyalty.

“We encourage anyone interested in obtaining this system to check with retail outlets regarding availability.”

WE’VE BEEN CHECKING FOR MONTHS!!!!!! I have yet to see any actual in-store evidence (physical or on-line) that the damn thing ever actually existed!!

Glad to help. I just learned this a few days ago, myself.

Unfortunately it’s a technical question with a technical answer. The simplest way to put the answer is that it’s caused by NES limitations when working with a background that can scroll in any direction.

Now playing

It’s an artifact of having the ability to scroll in all four directions at the same time. This video will explain why:

I would just assume there are future technologies at work that don’t apply to modern guns.

I was playing the Doom demo to test my new video card not 5 minutes ago! I hadn’t purchased the game yet because the demo was unplayable on my old GTX660. But now I see it runs flawlessly on the new 1060!

It’s damaging to the profitability of a high profile commercial product. It’s illicitly intercepting data from a private online service. It modifies the software on the user’s end against the terms of use. it’s costing Blizzard time and money to combat the cheating. It’s intentionally damaging Blizzard’s reputation

Agreed, thank you.

I still wait for a Tactics to be released with the translation and cutscenes of ‘War of the Lions’, with the sound effect quality and speed of the original PS1 version.

Also I’m VERY glad that there are no ‘power up’ type rewards/unlocks for just the reasons you pointed out, and more.

I agree that your solution is the “easiest” way to fix it. But it’s also the least appealing.

Your example, Ocarina of Time is a long quest that is constantly rewarding the player with game altering and power increasing items right up to the end. It isn’t geared for quick, repetitive, highly replayable, or competitive

Those sort of tools are already used to cheat in every game mode so removing EXP from custom games doesn’t fix that problem. Cheaters will cheat. It sucks, but the best we can do is report them when we see them, and Blizzard has to continue to develop their internal tools to watch for that sort of behavior

And there’s

I would look upon it as a reminder of how far your maturity has (or hasn’t) developed since you created your username.

I think the easiest way to resolve this whole situation would be to implement either auto-kick for idlers across all games, and/or no EXP awarded if a player is inactive for more than a certain percentage of time that they are in the match.
These ideas don’t require Blizzard to constantly watch for and ban farmers.
The

Players should be able to have both exp/loot and play with a large group of friends.

I like Momoa, but he’s not a racial or visual fit for this character. Antonio Banderas would be a much better fit.

It wouldn’t be the official PS1 translation which was 1999. So it would be one of the many fan-translation patches going around at the time. Which one is what I’m asking.

Please don’t feel the need to answer for other people, especially when you don’t know the extent or context of what’s being asked.

Custom games are the only way for groups of 6 casual players to not be pounded into the dirt by the dedicated teams of 6 that the matchmaking system tends to pair them up with. It’s also the only way to play with friends in groups larger than 6. _especially_ if your group wants to play around with modifiers.
