I’m not claiming otherwise. My point is that there ARE virtually no games from these IPs on the horizon for them to withhold. It’s sad all around :/

Nintendo has always been gimmicky in their controls. Their earlier efforts even became industry standards. The NES D-Pad, the SNES shoulder buttons, the N64 analog stick... Since then they’ve gotten a bit wacky and other companies refined these technologies while Nintendo kept experimenting. The NX looks to be another…

That’s good, at least. I just have no interest in gaming on my phone anymore. Touchscreen-only controls are awful for nearly anything that’s not casual. I wish it were otherwise.

I hadn’t heard that it was a one-time pay, but I knew it was designed vertically and never said otherwise. 

Famicom Disk System. The original Zeldas, Metroid, Mario Bros 2, they were all disk based games.

This is so true. I got a complete in box copy of Chrono Trigger for the Super Famicom for under $20 CAD. If you find a deal like that on the North American version, it’s either garbage condition, a fake, or the seller has no idea what a Super Nintendo is.

All Nintendo has to do is to stop under-powering their hardware, rebuild their relationships with key 3rd party developers, and modernize how they approach online play and services.

I have no idea what to make of it. It’s probably an auto scrolling style game. Pay $2 for 5 extra lives.

Assuming that Konami is leaning on these groups to remove Kojima’s footage, I have to ask why are they caving to Konami’s demands? What is Konami going to do? not release any of the upcoming games from all their legendary franchises on PS4?...... Konami is a joke now. They should be looked at as such.

People need to learn to calm down. Things like this are not issues to rally around.

I suppose there might be a market for Wii controller accessory extension cables. As long as the controllers aren’t miniature or hardwired like the Japanese Mini-Famicom, I still call this a win!

That’s exactly it. Zelda No Densetsu - The Hyrule Fantasy. The English text was mainly there to seem cool and exotic. Just like how there are German subtitles in the names of the Xenogears games.

personally, I prefer gaming without a magnifying glass. But that’s just me!

The thing that made it hard for me to get into the Dragon Quest games back on the NES were the lack of context sensitive actions. To talk to an NPC, to open a door, searching a spot for items, picking something up, or to use the stairs, you had to open a sub menu.
