It’s not a matter of not letting people know about the project, it’s that I feel that spreading the word should wait until it’s done, playable and in the wild. That way the IP holder can do their usual banhammering, but anyone who wants to play it and discuss it actually can because it will have already spread.

Why announce the project at all? Wait till it’s done and playable, release it, and THEN tell people about it. That was people can actually get a fan project for a change. I’ll await the C&D hammer with a heavy sigh.

Why wouldn’t it require a disc? if not, what’s to stop someone with a popular game from installing it on all his friend’s consoles for free? M$ isn’t likely to let that slip though the cracks.

Why would you only be able to play as a man? Why would that even be an assumption? Look at Fallout 3, New Vegas, Mass effect 1-3, Dragon age 2-3. all of these gigantic story driven titles have fully voiced male and female characters. (some have multiple voices for each)

The last time I installed µTorrent it stealth-installed malware. I think it was the ‘ask.com’ garbage. Something similar at the very least. I’ve since switched to Tixati.
