I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here. It sounds like Tilda was up front about the issues, expressed her desire to do something about it and sought advice from someone who is in a good position to provide it. And Cho’s responses were thoughtful and measured as well. Not sure what got lost…
Those are eligibility requirements, not qualifications. Being qualified for a job means you have relevant experience, knowledge, background, etc. to perform the functions of that job.
not having a basic understanding of how government works should be an automatic disqualifier. being a con artist, a fraud, a demagogue, narcissist, and anit-intellectual conspiracist are bonus points.
eh..quite the opposite: if the electoral college refuses to vote trump into office, they’re actually doing their job (1. preventing someone who clearly isn’t qualified from holding that office and 2. adhering to the will of the people’s popular vote)
