I have driven less than 2000 miles since March, but somehow I am spending more time browsing cars.

Two trunks you say?

Scorpio>>>>>any of these names

Double side pipes are even better.

You’ve met the Jalop community, right? ‘Esoteric comment about random minutiae’ is kind of the reason the website exists.

Not gonna happen, but I am legitimately amused by how popular this esoteric comment about lumber has turned out to be.

That gated Jag shifter......drooool

Also, you all saying it looks like a Mustang need to look up the original Aston V8 Vantage. Which was a pretty natural succession of the grill shape that was their trademark since the ‘50s.

No wonder he left his kit car like that when he had 11 of the real ones in the garage. I probably would too.

“Crown cut” sounds fancy but it’s just the normal way that boards are sawn from a log. Quarter sawn is actually more expensive because it’s more complicated and creates more waste, but it gives you a different grain pattern which is sometimes preferred. Quarter sawn boards are also more dimensionally stable.

Woof, that thing is a hot mess.

I don’t know what you’re seeing, but this thing is beautiful...Only thing a little off putting is the headlights, maybe better more angular than round.

Bowler?

My new trillionaire fantasy is going to Mitsubishi and being like “call anyone who worked on the Pajero Dakar program 20 years ago and build me a singular brand-new street-legal SUV with a hilarious engine/transmission combo. Here’s two million bucks to get the ball rolling.”

How exactly do you think these cars look similar?

And the wheels are just too busy.”

I’m sorry but the car you just described is the new Grand Wagoneer. This car is pure sex on wheels.

It’s called progress. Cars have been coming out with more and more tech every year they’ve existed, if you want giant knobs and metal dials, go buy a Model-T.

Love the SEL but I’d take the SEC!

Years later?  Like that’s the problem of the target market for people buying these new.
