Oh, that’s a wonderful thing to do. I’d like to do the same, but my husband can’t handle it. We had a 12 year old rescue a number of years ago who only got to spend 6 months with us. I kind of get calm and spiritual about it, but my husband goes into deep depression. So for him I got a puppy.
