Pretty real.
There are two expansions for Age of Empires 2 which came out 14 and 16 years after the game came out.
Age of empire 2 got an extension not so long ago
I’m not sure if you read the decision in its entirety, but unlike a lot of decisions published by the Ontario Court of Justice (usually full of legalese), Justice Horkins seemed to have went out of his way to write his decision in plain English.
Actually, the case wasn’t “he said, she said” because the Defense had files containing all the Corrrespondence between Ghomeshi and his victims to use to poke holes in their statements. The defence wasn't replying on memory like the Crown was.
there are 2 cool books out from 1996: “Les extras de Mézières” 1 & 2
you are right of course and also they were both involved in the movie. i just noticed that people sometimes only refer to moebius’ involvement while the true iconic stuff from the movie is mainly Mezieres’. the city, the taxi, and so much more.
I personally put it in the same category as Shaun of the Dead, Cabin in the Woods, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, etc., where it’s simultaneously a parody, love letter and fantastic entry into a genre.
Nothing is 100% original, everything is inspired by something.
I did a guest star on Grey’s the year after Heigl left the show. The crew resoundingly hated her. Apparently, a total diva, and not in a good way. They joked about her several times during the course of my episode.
For what it’s worth, I appreciate that you’ve made what seems like a sincere effort to hear people out and understand the points being made (and made very well at that). The only other thing I’d add is in response to this comment: “How can i learn if every time I ask a simple question it’s either ignored or treated…
Yeah, to be fair I think Heigl brought a lot of this on herself, she was a legendary jerk long before Shonda Rhimes put her bad behavior on Front Street. Heigl was unfortunate in a) she got on the bad side of a show runner who was able to amass that much influence at a critical time in her career and b) while…
Oh, god, I hope not. I’ve had a subscription since I started working, and most of what I’ve seen in their parenting columns is not too bad: usually, it’s advice from a child psychologist about useful ways to check in with your kids about setting habits, developing empathy, etc., with age-appropriate recommendations…
I loved the show Roswell as a kid/early teen and in an interview Heigl did she said she hated doing the show and wanted out, but she was under contract. So to rebel, she showed up late to work which is a shitty thing to do when there is a crew working there who isn’t making the same kind of money.
Honestly it sounds like a case of “we can’t have a woman complaining.” Her complaints never seemed absurd.
Exactly. The double standard thing is such a strawman. Firstly, men don’t get routinely catcalled so that they must change their route to and from work, worry about what they’re wearing, and are nervous to walk past men on the street. Secondly, there are no women advocating the catcalling of men and telling men it’s a…
I had to look up "poutrage". If you wonder if you've accomplished anything today, I'm here to tell you that you taught me a new word. Thanks! (Not snark, BTW.)
