What a completely dangerous thing for a judge to say publicly. Disgusting. That said, it sounds like there were some fairly big inconsistencies in the evidence. How can you both support victims and protect the sanctity of rule of law in cases like this?

I’m not knocking it, it’s a good film. But when discussing a creators work, I feel it’s important to at least mention the inspiration behind it, especially when it’s as obvious and encompassing as Moebius’. There’s inspiration and there’s wholesale appropriation.

I think one of the reasons it’s held up as well as it has is because of that. It’s definitely a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is so much better for it.
