This. If anything this just breaks the immersion for me. I mean in live action there’s no getting around seeing famous faces in films, but if it’s a video game, or CGI, I feel like they shouldn’t look recognisable. I see this footage and just think “oh look, a Gary Oldman cameo for no reason.”

If one remembers these movies purely for the action then it seems pretty reasonable that the stunt people should get top billing instead of the “actors”, who don’t exactly have to strain themselves.
But if no one made bullshots no one would expect those unrealistic overproduced images in magazines or sites. The practice has created an unrealistic expectation in consumers, not unlike the photoshopping of models in beauty ads.
Hope it’s more effective against immigrants than it is against titans.
