Well, cybersecurity is only as good as its coders and its users.

I say that autonomous cars won’t ever be widespread unless they all communicate with each other AND do not have to deal with the unpredictable nature of human drivers.

Paved roads aren’t exactly a problem since some rallies are held on road (Think France, Germany, Monaco, Spain). Mr. And Ms. Prius however are a problem. I’m pretty sure they won’t care that they’re going to be on international telly. They’ll have THE RIGHT to park their car rain, shine, or international competition.
