Spot on.

I thought the Las Vegas planet/save-the-animals subplot was terrible, Finn’s once-interesting character was completely under-served and giving the enigmatic at best “Holdo” a hero’s send-off a completely baffling choice but now I realize these are not problems with the film but problems with ME; a whiny baby. Thanks

Sam Barsanti: “Does not compute"

since Solo made it clear that audiences don’t necessarily need to see a new movie every single year

It’s okay not to like someone because she’s bad; it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are sexist.

Floyd Mayweather didnt become a big name or sell PPVs until he became the obnoxious, moneyMayweather. Americans dont embrace black fighters.

Woodley is doing the only thing he can in an industry that has fewer employee rights than the NFL. He’s controlling his own narrative but doing it in a way that forces fans and the UFC to give in eventually.

While people sometimes give Marvel a bit too much credit in the sense that this whole shared universe thing was not exactly planned from the get-go, but rather developed gradually after their early success with Iron Man, there is not getting around the fact that DC’s lack of a clue of what they were going to do has

I love Man of Steel right up until Superman makes out with Lois in the ashes of metropolis

Also, Aquaman’s main power is the ability to fall unscathed through five stories’ worth of abandoned public housing.

It seems to me that one of the big reasons Marvel’s run roughshod over WB/DC is simply the fact that most of their characters were unknown to the general public. Before 2008-2012, unless you were a comic book fan, you probably had never heard of Iron Man, Thor, or the Avengers. (Maybe Captain America, but only because

To be fair, the timeline of the world from 2004 to now has been weird as fuck.

Imagine telling people in 2004 that the series with Batman and Superman in it is pinning their hopes on an Aquaman movie.

I think like 90% of people would ask who Black Panther is.

Imagine telling people in 2004 that a Black Panther movie would make more money in a week than a Justice League movie would make in its entire cinematic run.

5 billion years to get the red overpants back.... worth the wait.

Well, can’t exactly be much worse than the live action film.

Or he could have figured out a way to send Zod back to the Phantom Zone, because that is what Superman always does instead of killing people.

Yeah 300 proved to me he was afraid of brown/black people.

Firstly, Frank Miller revealed himself to be a huge bigot in an interview. And an ignorant one too. So you know where this story came from.
