I defy anyone to watch the Family Guy version and not cry.

Ms. Stevenson, 32, is keeping her name.

for the first time we have a true instance of a single bad umpiring decision irrevocably changing the course of baseball history

So this will be one of those days where I have to ask myself why I ever moved from Toronto to New York. I still don't have a good answer for that one.

A suggestion: take this as the wake-up call it is that Gawker's commenting system has been overthought and overtweaked to the point of uselessness.

Or he could be the second coming of Junior Felix.

And don't ask for a spoiler alert; the NYTimes has this splashed right across their home page.

I want Gaby's job.

I echo the sentiments of the comments here, but I have to ask: you talk about throwing out your modem, installing this and that software, etc. Have you ever tried just throwing out your computer and tv?

@nickarmst: I suspect TMQ will explain that he abhors Mincing, 'Fraidy Cat punts, which this would most certainly not have been. I further suspect that he will take a position that it's one thing to choose to never, ever punt. Then fine, play your whole season that way. But as long as you employ a punter and believe

Conspicuously absent is any mention of the two wasted timeouts that robbed them of the chance to challenge a call. Which then makes the call to go for it guilty by association. #billbelichick

The less said about Baseball Tonight, the better. #umpires

@supermike5alive: I was with you until that Oso comment. He belongs in the same coffin as Diego.

Best thing that ever happened to me: (a) I found Tom and Jerry on On Demand; and (b) my kids love it.

@DumpsterDining: The devolution that show went through is really remarkable. When they still had Greg, I thought it was a pretty fun show. But once he became ill, not only did they get a replacement who sucks balls, but the whole tone and tenor of the show completely changed. It's unwatchable now.

Holy crap do I have some disagreements here. First of all, you want a piece of ass? I'd like to see you do better than Nina from Imagination Movers. (I'm in an office; find your own pic.) I love that show.

Now more than ever, we need a print button.

Pretty nice to be able to signal the staff of a Major League Baseball team during a game.
