Well I don't plan on watching any of that season (I hated the first season) so I can't necessarily confirm if it was fully accurate description, but the character they talked about seemed to fit that description along side being a "nothing" type of person.

That cause I think it has like many different meanings, I'm used to hearing it as a protagonist who's unlikable, cliche' or poorly written.

It's "new" and a "shake up" to the game's franchise which is kind of a big deal for a game franchise that doesn't normally change it's formula.
