Was that at Dallas? She kept on saying "You fucking millennials" and stuff to that effect. Then Lana's set ended up being canceled (ugh) so all I got to see that night was Love.

I mean, yeah, that's true. Shows often follow "the newcomer" as well; when Wes is thrown into that classroom with no idea as to what's happening, we have just as little a clue and can sympathize with him.
