My grandma had a baby blue ‘76, vinyl roof as well. I was too young to hate it then.

“On my coffee table I have a new cylinder head for the straight six in my Maverick” You’re not married, are you?
you seem to have the misplaced notion that an extremely common car with a non standard engine is defilement?
Your reaction is exactly the reason I’d like to own this car. In fact, it’s the only reason I’d own a Mustang.
Exactly. I pulled it out of the sticker bushes, it’s just an I6 Coupe. Nothing special, perfect blank canvas. I only have room for one fun car. Everyone preaches “build the car YOU want, not what the next guy wants” right? Well.....
You can have one. I paid $2500 for the Mustang. Less than your aluminator swap I’m sure. Go buy one, toss in a 302, and be just like everyone else.
If only comments could be downvoted somehow.
Stop it. This dude is far too unstable to have a “real” talk. This dude must have Ford all over his house and owns nothing but fords. Hates japs because of WWII. (STILL????) and will never buy nothing but the MADE IN THE USA label on the back.
Looks like we have a pushrod fanboy here, in all seriousness tho: He put a proper modern engine in an old car, probably making it more usable in the process. He did it right, so who the hell cares, I mean there’s no difference between this and a Icon bronco, it’s an old car with modern underpinnings done with style…
A straight six is a beautiful thing. The Ford small block six is a solid engine that Ford neglected in the USA. Getting examples from Australia is difficult. On my coffee table I have a new cylinder head for the straight six in my Maverick. It’s been sitting there a long time. Once I get the suspension sorted and the…
Reading below it started with a 60s straight 6. The 2JZ is literally the best thing to ever happen to this Mustang. Deal
You are literally the exact kind of person that he made this to piss off. The valve cover doesn’t say “Abomination” for his own sake.
Congratulations, you deserve this. Stop being a hater and let folks have fun.
The most correct thing about this car is the sticker on the valve cover.
There are soo many restomods, pro-touring, and the like that its refreshing to see someone step out on the edge and do something bold.
It’s not his fault Ford made straight six build ups so difficult for people in the USA.
