The Audi TT has a beautiful fuel cap/flap, in all three versions too. It’s done out of aluminum, and it’s very nice.

I agree, I have driven all over Europe, and basically what he described, driver, road and traffic-wise, could describe most of rural Europe. Southern Italy, like Naples, Bari, Sicily, etc, is a whole different story, but Northern Italy is no different than any other part of Europe, and the roads and drivers are still…
Ugh. SMH.
Tell me about it. I loved Panos’ school, I did their racing school in Road Atlanta, so much fun.
No doubt, any time someone asks me what they can do to improve the handling of their car, tires is always the answer. However, in the context of mods, tires have one problem: they wear out, and need replacement. So they quickly add up, especially when your car’s rubber starts at $300 or more per tire, and as they…
Sorry to pick your piece to voice this, but must we abbreviate/shorten/twist everything in this country? I detest the word “guac”. Not only is it lazy (because heaven forbid we say “guacamole” man, those extra 2 syllables are so tiring) but it also diminishes the culture from which the dish emanated. It says “I can’t…
That thing is ugly AF. Looks like a kit car or someone who bought a CLK and then proceeded to install every goddamn aftermarket spoiler, lip, fender flare, rocker panel, and any other thing they could stick on there.
When I did a racing school a few years ago you could buy a policy that capped your liability at $5000, which I think was an extra $500. I bought it, and was glad I did, because someone in our class lost it coming down out of 12 on Road Atlanta, hit the outer wall, caromed off onto the inner wall. He didn’t buy the…
LOL, stupid .gif wouldn’t upload. Never mind, carry on.

There you go, thanks for posting that!
Yep, my son told me later that on the last lap he was getting kind of nauseous. I wasn’t going more than 8/10, but I was happy that each lap was faster than the previous one, and that I managed to get a time decently under 10 minutes, which, all things considered, wasn’t bad.
I’ve driven the ‘ring hundreds of times on Gran Turismo. It’s not the same as being in a real car at the real track, not even close.
I’m sure they do, as I’m sure most tracks do, why should they pay for my fuck up? At least at the Glen there’s some runoff area, or bailout room should you overcook it going into a corner. What had me nervous about the ‘ring is that 80% of the corners are blind, and there’s nowhere to go if you go off. You put 2…
It’s much worse than that, I rented a Cayman S from RSR Nurburg, to do 6 laps on the ‘ring a couple years ago. In the briefing they tell you how much you have to pay to the ‘ring folks for cleaning up if you wreck. (aside from what you’ll pay for the car itself, which in my case I was on the hook for 50,000 Euro if I…
Dwight Eisenhower was a Republican president, not a Democratic one. However, just as this excellent article points out, the Republican party of today bears absolutely zero resemblance to the Republican party of old. Even Eisenhower would not have made the cut to current Republicans.
I hadn’t seen anything about their production lately, but it would make sense. I’m just a fan, and would love to be able to afford one someday, haven’t ever delved into their production, etc. Thanks!
OK, I have questions. The article mentions they are making 75 of these. Does that mean that Singer is really ramping up their in-house production capability or they are partnering with Williams, or others, to produce 75 of these? What is the time-frame for producing these 75 examples?
“Porsche says the new chargers are available to all electric vehicles that are equipped for its connection...”
They should have used those one-way spike things you find at rental car returns, that would have made things more interesting.
