My 2020 Cayman GT4 specified a 2000 mile break in period, where they said you should not exceed 4000 rpm (redline is 8000). However there is no function on the car to prevent you from exceeding the break-in period rev limit, Porsche leaves that up to you.

Nice blade runner reference.

That’s funny Tom, because after I used you to get my GT4, once the order was about to be finalized, I got a call from the salesman to go over my build. As we go through it, he makes some suggestions, and one of them was to get the smokers package. I said why, I don’t smoke. Then he cited the same reasons you did for

I always thought of Alpina as more luxury than performance, that’s what M is for, no? My example would be the Z8, which the Alpina version was softer, more of a GT.

They have similar silhouettes, but I think the Ferrari looks 100 times better than that Aston. The Ferrari looks like it’s skin is stretched taut over the frame, an all-of-a-piece look, whereas the Aston looks positively clunky by comparison.

Welcome to the nuthouse! I look forward to reading more of your stuff. Since you like Audi wagons, wanna buy my ‘09 A4 Avant? Cheers!

So is Florida’s.

Joining the chorus of dissenters, at least in terms of you placing the blame at Pirelli’s feet. Like you said, Pirelli designed the tire the way that Liberty and the FIA told them to, so it’s not Pirelli’s fault. Yu want to blame someone? Blame the FIA and Liberty, but not Pirelli, they just produced to the spec that

It creeps me out too, and I think it’s because it’s headless. I mean, obviously it doesn’t need a head but if it had one, and maybe even some additional sensors that could pass for ears and a tail, it would be less frightening.

That’s what I heard.

I think you’re just scratching at the surface, and pecking randomly.

Still looks like an angry beaver, I guess the “B” in BMW stands for bucktoothed.

I have a steam mop which has a hose attachment, I use that on my steering wheel, door handle, shifter, etc. Steam is a great sanitizer, and doesn’t use chemicals. The latter especially important now, with cleaning stuff in short supply, all I need to do is refill the tank with water.

Damn I’m really hating MB interiors. Busy, tacky AF, uncohesive, and wtf is with that steering wheel?

I did forget about the Marlins, thanks for pointing that out, although baseball does not draw nearly as many people, especially the Marlins, lol. I mentioned college football, other than the ‘Canes recently, it only hosted the Orange Bowl, again, one game.

OK, noted. That’s one football (soccer for Americans) game, and a friendly at that. They’ve done that a couple times a year over the past few years. Plus with all the Europeans and South Americans living in South Florida, it’s a no-brainer, as those games draw huge crowds.

“Ever since the Dolphins stadium was built, it’s been hosting football games, tennis matches, concerts, and more, forcing residents in the area to suffer through the plague of tourists and sports fans.”

That’s one of the signature traits in all his movies that I like so much. Mainly because I have an affinity for symmetry.

Ugh, that dashboard is hideous. Trying to figure out what the center binnacle design reminded me of, then it dawned on me what their inspiration was...
