To be fair, I’d say that the biggest driving factor in reduced violence at Premier League games is the high ticket prices. Granted, they’re still not as expensive as NFL or NBA tickets, but high enough to keep out the riffraff that was using soccer stadiums to let out their aggressions.

600 people asking to work and be paid in the summer when the need is probably a tiny fraction of that actually does seem like a lot to ask to me.
