I hate you....
Hm, I read “I have a wife, daughters, sisters and females on my staff so I protect women everyday.” less as patronizing and more as a direct response to Banks’ claim that “...the men in the room allowed it to happen.” She pretty openly accused RZA of not protecting her, seems like he was responding to that without…
I shouldnt have to do mental gymnastics to make the headline accurate.
Because the woman in question was in the process of trying to kill somebody with a bottle when she was spit on.
Because the flipside of variety and customization is balance. The more variety you have, the harder it is to make everything balanced. Some strategy/hero pick/talent build will always be superior to another, even more so when you add specific circumstances like countering the enemy /exploiting a PVE Bosses weaknesses…
Haven’t French men always been gross, smelly, serial harassers?
It said HIS mother, not yours.
You can buy the e-book version of her essay for like, $2 on Amazon. Totes worth it.
It’s glorious. You can also see the TED talk on YouTube which made me fucking weep.

I think everyone kind of wishes, deep down, that Obama was their dad.
“We’re not saying it’s true but other people are talking...”
This is the same logic of getting rid of Trump. Even if you did, you still have the Trump supporters. Getting rid of frats doesn’t eliminate the men who populate those frats.
i understand where you are coming from. integration is the word, but in some ways we have forgotten the strength of a segregated black community. read history. in chicago, black folk were stronger when they were balkanized because everything was there in the community. young men had immediate mentors in bankers and…
Celebrating Black culture in a space the majority isn’t allowed isn’t isolationist. It’s loving it, being in it, and being able to talk about the experience without the white majority needing to some how make it about them. Is this how you see this album? Isolationism because you aren’t reflected in this…
You are not making sense. Black people making things that are not specifically or automatically for greedy white consumption is not isolationist. Everything doesn’t have to be made for white people to “get,” or like.
Black culture is American. It is created by Americans for, primarily, other Americans. Sometimes different kinds of Americans like it. Too often different kinds of Americans are scared of it. Sometimes the rest of the world copies it and when they do, they call it American and perceive it as American because that’s…
It’s the opposite. Demanding Civil Rights is about finally being integrated with the rest of America, it’s just asking to be recognized for it’s own unique talent. It’s like saying ‘We are Black. And we are American.’ You can be both things at once. Each has it’s own definition but isn’t exclusionary.
Huh? I think you mean whiteness. Black culture has always been American.
