I mean, if getting definitive answers to those type of questions is that important to you, you're simply not going to enjoy the show. At least Lindelof gave fair warning this time.

I think people are taking the not-answering-questions thing too literally. The question of what happened to all the disappeared people won't be answered, and that's because one of the main themes the series examines is the existential crises people would have when faced with a huge, unexplainable mystery like that.

It's OK, I think I can translate this.

I almost walked out of the theater out of embarrassment for the actors when I went to see the third Hobbit movie. Ian McKellen and Christopher Lee deserved better. Once the battle starts, it's watchable, but you're really not missing anything.

Was it I who perpetrated that?

You obtained it, guy!

I live by the Morrissey calendar, and as such Tuesday is suffocation.

Terrible Video Player, Salon!

That's a good point. I'm not sure what to think about her box bird right now. The reverend cutting off Matt as he began to talk about his wife's health and John later pressing Matt on it is the key scene for me.

Hmm, yeah. What a weird scene. I guess I'll chalk that one up to the CEO of Tits, then.

I'm still trying to figure out what was up with that scene of the girls running naked. The chronology of the episode didn't seem completely in order, so I'm wondering if that happened after the birthday party (was it still daylight then?) and could be a clue to what happened to them.

I'm not sure if John is actually worried about charlatans. I think he's worried about people finding out there's some kind of magic in Jarden. He wanted Eddie Winslow gone because he was attracting attention and contributing to the magic narrative; he just used the charlatan claim for justification. And John was

I think you start a persist.org petition in this case.

Season 1 was a very mixed bag for me. There were a couple episodes that I count amongst the best TV I saw last year, a few that I liked well enough, and for the most part I hated the rest. I've never been more confused about whether or not I like a show, so I'm going to give it a few episodes this season before

Or she didn't try hard enough to kill a bird?

Yeah, I don't think it was a metaphor, but rather a concrete example of John not being a good person.

You said you wouldn't tell anyone about that. I define a word for you, and suddenly all decorum goes out the window?

Wow, fine. If that's your idea of softball, I don't want to play.

You've made a grave error, Dickhead.
