None of these will reach 50,000km.

Polestar is hoping people don't read the study, just the headlines. Nobody cares that it didn't meet up to the EPA numbers, it still had the best range out of all the EVs and that's what really matters.

No dice at $2000 but at $500-1000 it could be a nice weekend project to flip on Monday. You could get lucky and get this car fixed and running for a couple hundred bucks and a few hours or you could've bought something that takes more time and money than it's worth and be SOL.

Looking at his last cars, I think. BRZ might be the car for him.

They need a Type-RS version, the "S" for sleeper. All the performance of the R in a more subtle appearance.

No need to build any hydrogen network. Just fill it up from factory and you should be good. Should be enough for whatever YouTube videos are made about it before it goes into storage.

I had a ford fusion as a rental once. I drove it from Spokane to Seattle during winter and it drove fine.

When I listed my Miata for 2k on Craigslist, I took the time to wash and clean it. This person can definitely find 30min to wash and vacuum the car. Or at least 5 mins to run a hose over it. CP for a lazy owner who might have skipped out on other things.

This is what I thought too. All fully autonomous vehicles will be the size of semis because a handful of people need to haul a canoe on the weekends.

In a few years when my kids get into cars, when they think Mercedes the image that comes to mind are large SUVs and crossovers driven by old ladies, sold exclusively in black, silver, or white.

Yea it's a shame that Toyota changed the game with the Prius but didn't adopt that technology across their lineup sooner.

This thing is fucking stupid...but I want it. CP though. It would be NP at $500. Would make for a fun car to putt around town in. More fun if you swapped in a manual and like a D16 from a 90s civic. Just enough power to have fun but not enough to ruin the gas mileage.

Even if they offered the V6 with the manual, they would've have only sold a few dozen more. I love manuals, but let face it, ain't no one wants a manual except us jalops.

Sounds like my cousins 4Runner. He posted a video the other day with the caption " Going off-road" off road being a slightly dusty gravel road leading to a hiking trail parking lot.

Don’t put this guy on blast. The Japanese police will be mad they got tricked and will go after/ban this guy from Japan.

No engine bay or interior pics on a car this old, automatic CP.

Playing on rocks isn't fun. Good idea for garden beds though. Anyplace that's not my lawn is over run with weeds and it's a slow losing battle. I'm thinking about xeriscape once fall rolls around.

My guess is pricing. These new EVs will probably be pretty expensive. If it's not a truck or performance car, people will not want to pay 70k for a Chevy EV. But it can also be that these will probably be "luxury" EVs, since it's too hard to make an affordable EV with cloth seats not stuffed with fancy options.

I used to be an avionics tech and technically Elon is right. But in reality 90% of people think autopilot means self driving. They literally think the pilot presses an autopilot button and the plane flies itself while the pilots sit there and read magazines.
