Glad someone else noticed the Omni flashing gif thing, it's incredibly distracting verging on migraine inducing. Also most of the static images also don't show up for me (using Chrome). Really terrible experience - and I have emailed them about the problems.
Also you shouldn't forget that Clarkson writes a column for the Sunday Times - the Telegraph's major weekend competitor - and May used to write for the Telegraph but no longer does. Sour grapes.

I've been hit with something similar. It hijacks your browser and delivers ads. It's a pesky little bastard. Took me 3 lots of antiwalware software to get rid of it (Malwarebytes, Adwcleaner and HitmanPro). Follow the instructions here.....
