I know Zelda and 1-2 Switch probably hardly use the d-pad, but do you have any thoughts about how the joycon d-pad feels when attached to the screen like a portable? I play a lot of Virtual Console and other 2-d games like Shovel Knight on 3DS, but it is hard for me to imagine playing those with that 4-button d-pad.

See I won’t play this as a handheld and it will remain docked 24/7 and will be using a pro controller. However if performance is that bad while docked, I have to wonder if I should just forget it.

I don’t think anyone who has a Wii U and many of the amazing games that came out for it thinks it was a failure.
