You are an idiot!
You are an idiot!
The world is leaving you behind.
a married couple at that is $60K a year.
People deserve more than $15, healthcare benefits, stock, funded learning opportunities? How much more? Do you know what other warehouse jobs pay or do you just hate Amazon because blind ideology? Do you think they should be paid six figures?
Deserve? What a moron. Nobody deserves a wage just for breathing? The $15 minimum wage is offensive to those skilled people who have worked up to and past $15. You can certainly live, and live decently well, in most areas of this county on less than $15. People like you are an anathema to the real people of this…
First and second jobs were at warehouses. The jobs, and the lifers working there, were excellent reminders of why I needed to do well in school.
Do they pay shit or do they pay the norm for non-skilled labor. Understand that if the job requires no experience/intelligence its reflected in the pay. This isnt some confusing thing. This is how the world works. I know this is hard for the liberals to understand. The more education/training/difficult/dangerous the…
My favorite part of this discussion is that you’re echoing the author’s point, that FB is overly opaque about how they internally identify and recommend connections while the commenters arguing with you are just hazarding guesses about what the connection might be. It’s like if you asked someone how a watch works and…
Yes. I am saying that it’s not random. I am replying to a comment saying it is random.
Here’s one for you. I have dealings with a charity in a city of 1.5 million people, my point of contact in the charity keeps popping up on FB as the top suggested friend. We have had no interaction outside of my personal email address which FB shouldn’t have access to. I don’t even like the charity’s page on FB, we…
Well, we know that Facebook uses an algorithm to suggest PYMK, they don’t suggest random people. Therefore this was not a random suggestion.
How is that moving the goal posts? The first statement is me saying it’s not random, the second statement is me saying why it’s not random.
I know that the 6 Degrees thing is, I just strongly doubt that it means you’d statistically know someone out of 1200 random people.
The issue is that Facebook won’t reveal how they know the information, along with a history of weird connections (others are cited above). At some point, there are too many things pointed out for it all to add up to randomness.
Ever hear of ‘6 degrees of seperation’?
You don’t see why that is statistically unlikely? That you’d be connected to anyone out of 1,400 completely random people in the United States is basically impossible, especially when you factor in the fact that this connection would have only been known to you in the past year.
