My first new, off the lot car was a ‘03 2.5RS “bugeye” I should have never, ever, ever sold that thing. I miss it so much. Sure, the new base-line Imprezas use the 2.5 engine standard, but there’s definitely something missing in them that the 2.5RS had. My girlfriend of the time had a WRX of the same year. Even that

gah i knew someone would say that!!

Can’t be Duratracs. Tread’s not nearly aggressive enough. Just look at the sidewall.

Because you want a wrangler that carries 5 people AND more gear than a duffle bag and some chips

I miss mine too, I can just see it out my window. She’s being a bit of a bitch and I just haven’t had time to sort out what it wants.

Not 100% sure but USDM may have gotten the Subaru RX with a turbo engine. I know someone brought one to my shop but I wasn’t really paying attention to it as I was busy swapping a bugeye turbo motor into my 96 L.

Either way, I’m surprised that he still won despite that pretty long delay.

I’ve done something similar before.

Why would a filtration problem be worse in a turbo engine that it is on a naturally aspirated one? They both suck air.

Air is air. Turbos don’t suck any more of it than a bigger NA engine making the same horsepower, and I find it unlikely they suck any additional sand along with that air.

I’m on a conference call, and I’m desperately hoping that they aren’t asking me to do anything, because I haven’t paid attention to a single word thanks to this article.

When did Hyundai ever do originality?

We need the FA crew to take over the main Gawker writing duties.

It should really be in the middle.

you mean they put the engine in the front?!?!?!

If there is a 997 GT3 RS in front of me, there are very very few cars I would pick over it and this is not one of them. Nothing wrong with the Subaru, but there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the GT3.

^What he said.

Now this is the sort of stuff I want to see on Foxtrot Alpha!

Resistance is futile

Eventually, maybe. Sterling’s smart enough to know that you don’t talk about ongoing legal battles in a public setting, so until the suit is either resolved or dropped, he’s going to stay mum on the subject, most likely.
