Considering the regular, non-collectible versions of the card sell between 40-60$, it's pretty powerful.

I think the conventions for Star Wars and Star Trek and stuff like that cost a decent amount because they have to fly the actors and other creative types out for it, but I can’t imagine why BlizzCon would be a similar story. I think Star Wars Celebration was around $250 last time I did it. Only thing I can think is…
I am way less annoyed by FFXVI becoming an action game than I am about so many people asserting that Final Fantasy games have always been about reinvention. Maybe that’s true in terms of setting & narrative (and I would argue you’d have to really stretch the idea of what narrative “reinvention” means in an anthology…
Weren’t you one of the ones around here saying the same stuff about NFTs?
Totally agree.
That’s what I would bet on. Limited Run has been pretty good about getting physical copies of digital games. If they do it I hope they do a great collector’s edition because I really liked the one from the original Alan Wake.
Thats where I think a lot of games are going to go in the long run. Release digital only at launch, get all your sales and then once all the bugs and fixes found during the launch window are ironed out do a limited run where the dev has little risk in producing unsold stock.
aka “we don’t want you to be able to buy this used or at any price besides what we set”. digital only sure is some bullshit
Oh neat he’s charging $15 for a game he doesn’t own the rights to. What a great idea, I’m sure there won’t be any issues with that...
I don’t want a Switch pro, I want a pro dock. We are at the point that the tech has long been available to have a higher end GPU/CPU in the dock including in some high end Laptops and the docked mode is really where the switch is showing it’s age the most. Keep the power of the switch itself lower, improve the battery…
There are custom-made protective cars for that, but they generally look like, you know, cars. Even the President’s limo looks pretty normal from the outside. They have reinforced body panels and bulletproof glass, etc., but they don’t shout to the world “look at this rich idiot, what a great kidnapping target he’d…
Assuming you’re asking why the Japanese name is similar to Geller’s name, I’ll see if I can explain.
You could argue the japanese name includes Geller’s name.
Only mildly related but as an amusing exercise, I dumped her entire word salad into ChatGPT and gave it only the instructions “make it more concise and empathetic” and it gave me a brief 217 word statement that somehow sounded more like it came from a real person than the original. It also had the good sense to cut…
This happens on the daily for movie advertising. Not excusing it, it’s stupid and it’s duplicitous. But it’s legal and the norm for that particular section of the entertainment industry.
The sum of laid off workers annual salary equaling a tiny fraction of the CEO’s pay is nauseatingly gross and happens an equally nauseatingly gross number of times. Very very sad. I wish all those impacted the best.
What a shit show. As always, if a company needs to make cuts, corporations should be forced to find that money in executive compensation and perks well before even considering laying folks off.
But if they don’t have unfettered growth year after year after year, how will they ever make more and more and more money?!?!?!?!?
Much of California is backed by a mountain range that traps and concentrates pollutants as the wind flows to the east. On the other side of that range is the remainder of the US. Personal observation: Flew out of LA and as the plane passed over those mountains I could see what might be described well enough as a very…
That is pretty much me now.
