As a Canadian I just don’t understand it, your entire healthcare system. It makes no sense. If you put people in ruin due to medical costs, you lose their spending power. From a purely economy standpoint, it makes zero sense.

They buy non-existant debt all the fucking time. I was once sent a collection notice for the one time my paycheck bounced and I’d just paid a bunch of big bills. The paycheck was reprocessed and everything righted out in less than a week.
